Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace
The Best Alternative

DSI is one of the country’s foremost authorities on providing the complete, Food Safety, Health and Safety, and Professional Training course solutions, offering best value and quality results. We have over 20 years experience and are accredited by HABC. We aim to get it right first time, every time and strive to exceed customer expectations. We are committed to quality, integrity and excellence and it's our desire to be different by being better. Quality begins and ends with the customer and we always endeavour to satisfy your needs through our dedication to service and excellence.

Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC) was established in 2008 to provide qualifications in sectors where trainers and corporate organizations have expressed a need for high levels of customer service and quality together with a competitive, transparent pricing structure. HABC has listened very carefully to these comments and have produced an awarding body that will deliver on all fronts.

All of their accredited qualifications have been developed specifically for insertion onto the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), the new framework for recognizing and accrediting qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland with full support from the relevant Sector Skills Councils. They are therefore relevant and fully cognisant with industry and regulatory standards as well as being recognized by Environmental Health Practitioners, Auditors and other Enforcement Officers.

HABC is recognized by Ofqual, DCELLS and CCEA.
HABC have deliberately concentrated on a select offering of compliance qualifications, in which their team has in excess of 100 years experience. Specializing in this way enables them to divert all their resources to the areas that matter, delivering a superior, more focused service in the process.
In addition, HABC is in a position to approve bespoke non-accredited qualifications.
Certificates of achievement will contain both HABC and the training/corporate organization’s logos if required.

In order to develop its qualifications, HABC has utilised the services of some of the UK’s most respected subject matter experts. Even though HABC is a separate legal entity to Highfield, it will adopt all of the core values demonstrated by Highfield over the last 25 years. As such, they are confident that the high esteem in which Highfield is regarded by trainers and EHP's alike will transfer to HABC. They firmly believe that the qualifications which we offer will be highly regarded in the sectors in which we will operate. Furthermore, HABC will also have the expertise to accredit qualifications in countries outside of the UK.

The course consists of PowerPoint presentations, revision tests and HSE videos.

At the end of each lecture, consisting of several presentations, there is a revision test to complete. This does not form part of the examination, it is an indication of how well you are progressing with the course material. At the end of each revision test your email programme will ask you to send me the results.

At the end of each presentation, there is an interlude with music. This is the end of the presentation and you can move onto the next section, unless you want to absorb the art and music of the interlude!

Good luck with the course. If you have any queries/comments/observations/worries/concerns during the course, please do not hesitate to contact me between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, by either ringing or emailing me. My contact details can be found by clicking HERE.
